Bored on President's Day!!! ( Warning, Don't Look At This While Children Are Around!) :)

The kids decided to try an escape plan from the roof...well Dominic, Riley and Nohemy all succeeded! I figured if we ever had a fire, they would already know what to do...right???

Post for Chandra Peterson...LOL!

This weekend, I had a pretty good weekend. My cousin James came home from his mission and I had a great time reconnecting with him. I did however decide that after seeing all the photos of Chandra with MY Uncle Monte and Aunt Kimi that I was going to take some photos with them that would make her as jealous as I was of the cute pictures she has of them...so Chandra this post is mainly to make you jealous!!! LOL When I took the pictures and told Kim and Monte what I was doing they laughed and I'm sure they thought I was nutts. It was great to see them and I love them so much. I taught Kassidy how to find out if a boy is a gentlemen by the old drop your purse and see if he helps you pick it up trick...not as successful as we would have liked, but it was funny!!!

Juan's Arrest

First of all since you guys are my family, I decided to let everyone know what's going on because secrecy drives me crazy. In November right before Thanksgiving, Juan was arrested for domestic "stuff ". He is still in jail and is looking at 15 years if convicted. We are affected by this so much and it has ripped a big hole in our world. I have tried to keep a sense of normalcy for the kids, but as you can imagine it had been a nightmare. I have been running our grocery store alone and barely making it. Last week, they revoked the lease on our store in part to a morality clause that forbids arrests. So I have had stress up to you know where with money worries and trying to stay sane in this trying time. I have tried to do a few things for the kids so they can have SOME fun. One of the things I was able to do was take Mimi and Dominic to the Humanitarian Bowl. We had a great time despite the cold. One of the deputies from the Sheriff's Office gave us some tickets for free...we are so grateful for that. Another Deputy came over and talked to the kids about their job and eased the kids' concerns about policemen and they had a wonderful time and they are a little more comfortable about the whole situation. I just wanted also to say thank you to all my family and friends who have put our name in the temple and the prayers that have been given for us. We love ALL of you and thank you for your support in this darkest of times for us. We LOVE YOU ALL!!

Thanksgiving and Marie

I've had a hell of a couple of weeks, so here are some random photos from some of the happier times. This is Gavin's birthday party, and some photos from Thanksgiving. One of my good friends came up from Oregon to be with me during this time. We had a pretty good talk and I'm grateful to her for her support and unconditional love of me and my family. I especially appreciated Marie for all her advice and helping me laugh again. Love you honey!

Harvest Festival

I decided last year that I would volunteer for the PTO, and I am now the Hospitality Cooridinator. A couple months ago I volunteered to be in charge of the Harvest Festival and what an undertaking that has been. Last night was the fiesta and what a fiesta it was. The highlight for me was the pie in the face booth which Dustin volunteered to be our victim. He was such a good sport about it. Mimi and Dominic also voluteered to be victims. So hilarious, I'm still cracking up. We had hot dogs and chili, caramel apples, popcorn balls and cider. It was so fun! My generous ex husband Stacy came and ran the face painting booth since he is an incredible artist and his wife Allison helped man the old time photo booth. She was a sport being 7 months pregnant to help out like she did...LOVE HER!!! Dustin and I did a photo in the booth so as soon as we get that, I will post it...should be interesting. The kids did one too, now that one will be GREAT! So now I am heading up to McCall to decompress from this crazy couple of months I've had!

Gavin Turns 4...party this weekend!

This is my little Gavin...or Gavino as he is known in some circles. I love him so much. He's head strong, beautiful smile, loves to laugh and has brought me more pain and joy then I ever thought possible. He keeps me on my toes and loves his Mommy. Sorry for all the pictures, but its hard to pick just a few!
